Students arrive in the morning at 7:40 a.m. Classes begin at 7:50 and end at 2:40 p.m. A recess break is given at 9:30 a.m. Parents are encouraged to send in students with healthy snacks & lunches. We are extrememly fortunate to have cafeteria service from Ratihente High School. Order forms are sent home every 2 weeks. Lunch hour at school is from 11:20 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Students eat their lunch and are supervised in the gymnasium. We are also fortunate that we have the use of 3 microwaves for heating up any lunches the students bring from home.. Happening at our school:
Other stuff!! Remembrance Day - Friday, November 11. Parents are encouraged to join us annually at the Pine Hill Cemetary for a ceremony in the presence of local veterans. We take time to reflect of the significance of the day. Community members, staff & students are able to make a small coin donation to the legion and receive a poppy. Parent Teacher Interviews - Friday, March 27 Christmas Concert (Thurs. Dec. 18) Christmas Break( December 22 - January 5, 2015) Spring Break (March 2 - 6, 2015) Science Fair (February 26 & 27, 2015) Earth Day - April 22 (time is alloted for teachers & students to appreciate & take care of our mother earth) Kahnawake Run (Thursday, June 4, 2015) Graduation Day (June 2015 actual date yet to be determined)
