Ratihen:te High School is located in the Mohawk territory of Kanehsatake. It is a small, but welcoming public school that offers a list of subjects including: Mohawk, English, French, Math, Biology, Personal Orientation Project, Physical Education and Science. There are 4 classes in a day, each 75 minutes long, and a 9 day schedule is followed.

Ratihen:te was first established in the year of 1997 at the old "Brothers" high school. We relocated to our new school in the month of October, 2005.

At Ratihen:te high School the staff not only concentrates on the specific learning objectives of each course, but they also focus on the students' personal development. our task is to foster an understanding and respect of self, others and the environment; to acquire creativity and problem skills; so thateach student will becomea productive and healthy individual well adjusted to the natural and social environment.
